Well it's testament to the strength of the driver's survival cell at any rate. He's has used 2 of his 9 lives this week. having been robbed at gunpoint while out getting food from a drive thru earlier in the week. Must've been new under wear required though.

That is probably why the Yanks do it, so that the public can see the whole track, still boring as hell though....
Like most American sports it's entirely about power and strategy but has to be simple to watch assuming a near zero attention span. Put a proper racing driver in those cars and they stand out.
Agreed, just different. F1 is more of a technical sport with everything designed to the absolute limit that technology has to offer and driven by the best drivers in the single seat World. Montoya "nothing drives like and F1 car".
Until they get involved in the 'stock car' bit and get pushed into the wall.
